The Cry Baby Wah is the most iconic guitar effect in music history. When it hit the scene in 1966, it added a whole new layer of expression to the electric guitar—players such as Jimi Hendrix and Eric Clapton used the Cry Baby Wah to create some of the most timeless sounds in rock. The GCB95 is a modern interpretation of that sound, featuring the lush, expressive character of the legendary red Fasel inductor with a more focused high end and a more aggressive and accentuated wah sound. With a heavy-duty die-cast housing and a Hot Potz Potentiometer tested to one million cycles, the Cry Baby Wah will withstand years of playing.

Classic and cool tone
Item came as described. As I said on the title, such a classic tone. Great for classic rock but a bit tricky for small pedalboards because of its dimensions. Highly recommended.

This Is A Classic Guitar Device
Any electric guitarist that plays rock music should have a wah-wah pedal and the Dunlop ‘Cry Baby’ is the only to use, in my opinion. If you have not used this device one of the first things you will notice is the weight. This baby has a steel body even the foot control. I’m 70 years old and I have played guitar for around 55 years and I got my first one when I was a junior or senior in high school. This device isn’t used in a lot songs, but when you need this effect, it’s perfect.

The best pedal ever
The original Vox wha pedal was improved by Dunlop and remains the iconic sound effect for electric guitar to this day. I love this sound and there when you use it Jimi Hendrix Voodoo Child pops into your mind!

Tone Sucker, Nevertheless a fantastic pedal
While the functionality of the wah itself is top notch, it has a noticeable impact on your tone even when itâs in the off position. It seems to suck out some mids or something I canât really put my finger on it but it kind of sounds like if you were to kick the pedal on, and then find the most neutral position on the rocker. Itâs very minor though, just something that should be noted. Also, it kind of sounded funny in front of all my modeling amps, but it sounds amazing in front my EVH 5150 tube amp (I play a lot of hard rock and metal, think Alice In Chains and Kirk Hammett). With my tube amp Iâm able to replicate Hammettâs wah-drenched fills in Enter Sandman, and Jerry Cantrellâs solos very well. It should just be noted that for some reason it just didnât sound right to me with the heavy distortion tones of the modeling amps.

Easy to use.
This is the first wah pedal I have owned, it works as advertised and I don’t have any complaints with it. I recommend this product.

Power, Quality, Easy to use, cheap compared to others, a must have!!
Really impressed about the power, quality and simplicity, my settings: a MZ MT-2 in fuzz, MXR carbon copy mini, Line6 spider IV clean, each in 12′ w/ reverb. Now I can sound more like KGLW, a must have.
