The term “digital” often refers to PCM-sampled drum sounds, but the Volca Drum uses DSP-powered analog modeling to create its sounds. It offers oscillator waveforms like sine, sawtooth, and noise, allowing for a wide range of percussion sounds, from realistic to idiosyncratic.
