Every detail of UC1 has been implemented to keep you in control and informed of how your mix is reacting to processing. Dedicated front panel encoders accompanied by an on-board hi-res display allow you to move quickly between instances of SSL 360° enabled plug-ins directly from the surface. You can also load presets, as well as alter the channel strip process order. All of this feedback and control means, unlike many other controllers, you don’t have to look at your DAW when driving UC1.

SSL 360°-enabled Plug-ins

SSL 360 Link brings a new level power & flexibility to your hybrid SSL workflow. It allows control of any third-party plug-in using the UC1 hardware.

Full of tone, punch and rich non-linear analogue character, the 4K B is a detailed emulation of the legendary SL 4000 console B channel strip.

Channel Strip 2 is a fully-featured Channel Strip, based on digital modelling of the EQ and Dynamics curves from the XL 9000 K SuperAnalogue console.

Bus Compressor 2 is the ultimate SSL Bus Compressor plug-in, featuring additional Ratio, Attack and Release options and oversampling.

SSL 4K B: back to where it all began

The SSL 4K B plug-in is a detailed emulation of the legendary SL 4000 B channel strip. Originally released in 1976, the SL 4000 B was famously used in the “Stone Room” at London’s Townhouse Studios on such iconic songs as Phil Collins’ “In the Air Tonight,” The Buggles’ “Video Killer the Radio Star,” and Peter Gabriel’s “Intruder.” The SSL 4K B plug-in models the original console meticulously, with lock-tight integration with the SSL 360° Plug-in Mixer ecosystem.
