Can I use the MV6 with my iPhone or iPad or Android Phone?

Yes! The MV6 is MFi approved so it will work just fine on USB-C iPhones and iPads. The same goes for USB-C Android phones. MOTIV mobile audio and video apps are available for both mobile platforms Apple and Android.

Do I have to download MOTIV Mix in order to use the MV6?

If you want full control of your MV6 and the ability to change settings, download the MOTIV Mix. However, the microphone will still work without MOTIV Mix, and will have Auto Level Mode, Real-time Denoiser and Digital Popper Stopper already enabled.

Does the MV6 work with gaming consoles?

The MV6 is compatible with all laptops, desktops, and gaming platforms that support USB Audio for Class 2 devices. Not all gaming consoles support external USB Audio. Check your manufacturer’s website.

Can I use my MV6 with Teams, Zoom, Google Meets, etc. for video calls/conferencing?

Yes, the MV6 will be a great solution for video calls when at the office or working from home. Simply connect to your PC or Mac via the supplied USB-C cable and ensure the MV6 is selected as your microphone in your video conferencing app/platform.

Can I use a different stand, such as a boom arm with the MV6?

Yes! The MV6 is fully compatible with standard mic mounts. The MV6 comes with a desktop stand in the box and is compatible with any 5/8” stand of your choosing. You will need a 5/8” to 3/8” adapter for 3/8” stands.
