Can I expand the number of inputs of the iD14?

You can! You can add additional inputs via either S/PDIF or ADAT using the Optical input. This can give you up to 8 additional channels.

Can I use phantom power without requiring an external power supply?

The iD14 MKII can provide two channels of full Phantom Power (48V, up to 10ma) from USB power alone so you don’t have to carry extra power cables around with you.

Will the iD14 have enough power to drive my high impedance headphones?

The iD14 features a powerful headphone amp that can drive headphones at a good volume, all the way up to 600 ohms!

Does the iD14 MKII have Balanced outputs?

The Line outputs of the iD14 MKII (Outputs 1-4) are all balanced TRS outputs to provide the best quality audio to your speakers or outboard equipment.

Do I have to use a mic preamp to be able to use the talkback feature?
