Can I use the EVO SP8 with any ADAT equipped interface?

Absolutely, the EVO SP8 features two optical ports for sending and receiving signals. These can send either ADAT or SPDI/F data meaning you can use the SP8 to expand your existing Optical Port equipped interface!

Can I use the EVO SP8 without a digital connection?

The SP8 can be used as a standalone preamp and can send the preamp inputs directly to the outputs on the back, meaning you can also use this in analogue studios for expanding your inputs!

Can I plug Line Level sources such as Synths into the EVO SP8?

Yes! Simply plug a TRS cable into the center of the combi input jack to connect a line level source such as a synth.

Can I control the EVO SP8 from my EVO 16?

Yes! You can control the EVO SP8’s Pre-amps Gains, Phantom Power and More from the EVO Mixer software. This just requires an ADAT connection to and from the EVO 16 to the EVO SP8.
