Is it easily to replace the carbon brush?

1, Remove the shell of the polisher

2, Replace the worn carbon brush with a new one, then install the shell as before

Can it be plugged into 220V-240V?

No, this dual action polisher can only be used in 120V, it is not compatible with 220V or 240V.

Why is the backing plate 6-inch, but the polishing pads are 7-inch?

This dual action polisher is equipped with 7 inch foam pads, which can make sure the hard edge of the 6 inch backing plate have no chance to scratch the car surface during rotation.

Can I use a bigger or a smaller backing plate on this dual action polisher?

The plate could be replace with a larger one as long as the spindle thread of the plate is also 5/16 inch (8 mm). Otherwise it won’t fit.

Why is the polisher rotates slowly or stops rotating although the motor is running?

Excessive force will stop the pad from rotating. Only need to glide gently, keep the pad against the car’s surface, then the polisher will rotate properly.
