MIDI pad requires a MIDI or USB cable for proper connection to a computer or MIDI device. A power supply cable won’t suffice. For iPhone or iPad connectivity, use a OTG cable, and due to their power limitation, extra power needed.

Buttons Unresponsive During Firmware Upgrade (Only “VELOCITY TYPE” Lights Up)

Exit Upgrade Mode: Turn off the pad, hold PAD4 + PAD13 while powering on.

Upgrade Firmware: Use Windows 10/11 (not Win7) to install the control panel and re-flash firmware.

DAW Plays Notes 1 Octave Lower Than Set

DAW software automatically lowers notes by 1 octave. This is normal.

Tutorial Button Mapping Doesn’t Match Device

Close DAW, open control panel.

Click File → Restore Default Values → Send to Hardware.

Reopen DAW.

No Sound in DAW

Close the control panel to avoid software conflict.

Verify audio output settings in DAW.

Phone/Tablet Connection Issues

Android/iPad (Type-C): Use OTG cable + power supply.

iPhone (Lightning): Apple OTG cable + external power.

iPad (Type-C): OTG adapter + included USB-C cable + power.

Note: Ensure cables support data transfer (test via computer connection).
