Does the R-31 support stereo output? How to connect two speakers?

Yes, it does! Use the OUTPUT L and OUTPUT R jacks to connect two speakers for stereo expansion (see ‘Stereo Connection Diagram’ in the manual). The output impedance is 100Ω and is compatible with most guitar amps or mixing consoles.

What types of reverb effects are available on the R-31 effects?

There are 9 high-quality stereo reverb effects, namely Room, Hall, Church, Cave, Plate, Spring, Reverse, Shimmer and Dream. Each of these has unique sound characteristics.

How does the Infinite function work? What kind of scenarios is it suitable for?

When switched on, the reverb tail is extended indefinitely, suitable for creating an ambient wall of sound or experimental music. It’s activated by long-pressing the footswitch and deactivated by pressing it again.

What does the Trail feature do?

The Trail function allows the reverb effect to decay naturally, avoiding the abruptness of a sudden cut-off. It’s recommended to turn it on when you’re playing something with a lot of continuity to keep the transition smooth.

Is it possible to save custom reverb parameters? How do I quickly recall them?

Support! Once you have set the parameters by adjusting the knobs, press and hold the footswitch for 3 seconds to save them as a preset. The next time you use it, touch the footswitch to call up the preset directly, no need to repeat the adjustment.
