Introducing Protec’s PRO PAC Technology

In 1984, Protec developed and patented the PRO PAC case to be a lighter alternative to traditional wood cases while offering the storage benefits of a gig bag. Today PRO PAC cases are trusted by professional musicians around the world to protect their priceless instruments. Each case is carefully crafted using premium materials resulting in a superior case. At the heart is an instrument fit that was meticulously engineered to be exceptionally safe and secure.

Weather Resistant Exterior

Made of extremely durable 1680 ballistic nylon and reinforced with zig-zag stitching.

QuickLock and Rope Handles

QuickLock allows your to securely shut an empty case without zippering. The main handles are made of durable rope with reinforced stitching and a padded handle wrap for excellent comfort.

Optional Backpack Strap (model # BPSTRAP)

Our optional backpack strap (sold separately) is compatible with most PRO PAC cases. Made with weather-resistant exterior and thick padding with a breathable mesh backside and sternum support.

Metal Hardware

Strong and high-quality metal hardware designed to last. Custom-designed zippers with a lock hole for the main compartment.

• Responsibly made: All materials tested to be free of Lead, DEHP, PAHS8, DBP, and BBP.
• Weather-resistant exterior and shock absorbing frame: Made of extremely durable 1680 ballistic nylon and reinforced with zig-zag stitching with a lightweight shock absorbing frame.
• Shoulder strap and large gusseted pocket: Strap features a large non-slip adjustable shoulder pad and strong metal clips. Large zippered pocket perfect for storing smaller accessories.
• Rubber feet and metal hardware: Sturdy custom-designed rubber feet. Strong and high quality metal hardware designed to last.
• Soft lining and storage: Interior is lined with breathable and non-abrasive padded velvet. Small compartment will fit an extra barrel and/or other small accessories.
