PROFESSIONAL UPPER TORQUE TURNTABLE SYSTEM

With the MK2 version of the RP-7000 we present a turntable that meets the high demands of professional clubs, DJs and turntablists. Thanks to a strong direct drive with finely tuned motor control and a particularly heavy housing construction with additional reinforcement, we were able to develop a robust and indestructible turntable that can cope with rough everyday life with ease.

INDESTRUCTIBLE AND ROBUST HOUSING CONSTRUCTION

The housing of the RP-7000 MK2 has been additionally stiffened and weighted using metal, rubber and plastic elements. This makes the turntable very insensitive to vibrations, for example caused by the loud bass reproduction in the DJ booth. Shock-absorbing feet on the underside of the turntable add further isolation. The surface has been finished with a high-quality, hard-wearing paint that is particularly scratch-resistant. Visually, the RP-7000 MK2 impresses with its timeless finish in deep black or classic silver metallic.

STATIC BALANCED S TONEARM WITH NEWLY DEVELOPED TONEARM BASE

The RP-7000 MK2 features a statically balanced, S-shaped tonearm with hydraulic lift and anti-skating mechanism. The newly developed tonearm base is even more stable and can be adjusted in height (VTA). The tonearm of the RP-7000 MK2 is characterized by the particularly low-resonance, satin-finish material and comes with a universal connection for pickup systems (SME).

EQUIPPED WITH EVERYTHING – DUAL START/STOP BUTTON, PRECISE ENGINE CONTROL AND REVERSE FUNCTION

In addition to the innovations on a technical level, the RP-7000 MK2 has a number of functions that make the everyday life of a DJ much easier. The newly developed aluminum LED needle light is easily replaceable and can be rotated freely, so that the needle position can be clearly seen even in the dark. An additional start/stop button was added for vertical installation (battle position). The buttons on the top of the RP-7000 MK2 can be used to switch between the three speeds (33 1/3, 45 & 78 RPM). The precise motor control ensures that the selected speed is maintained with the utmost precision. Dedicated buttons for forward and reverse allow creative intervention in the mix.

HIGH RESOLUTION PITCH SECTION WITH DIGITAL FADER

The pitch can be easily read and adjusted via the precise pitch scale. In addition to the classic pitch ranges of +/-8% and +/-16%, the ultra-pitch setting +/-50% can also be used with the RP-7000 MK2. This can be used, for example, to creatively modulate the pitch of the record being played. If Quartz Lock is activated, the speed of the disc being played remains unaffected by the position of the pitch fader.

QUALITY CONNECTIONS AND BUILT-IN PHONO PREAMP

Thanks to the recessed connection cavity, the RP-7000 MK2 can be easily installed in the case and placed seamlessly on adjacent devices. Thanks to the integrated phono preamplifier, the gold-plated cinch output pair on the back can be used to output both a phono and a line signal. An optional ground connection provides additional protection for club environments. All cable connections (cinch/mains cable) are detachable and therefore easy to replace, which also makes it easier to transport the turntable.

POWERFUL ENGINE WITH EXTENSIVE ADJUSTMENT POSSIBILITIES

The quartz-controlled DJ turntable is equipped with a strong upper-torque direct drive. By fine-tuning the engine control using digital correction, the synchronization fluctuations of the RP-7000 MK2 could be further reduced, which leads to a particularly smooth running. The starting torque is infinitely adjustable in the range of 2.8 – 4.5 kg/cm, as is the stopping speed in the range of 0.2 – 6 seconds. The heavy, precision-machined, die-cast aluminum platter was designed to reduce vibration and Resonances provided with a rubber insert.
