Yamaha HS Series speakers are trusted by audio engineers as the standard for studio monitors. The HS3 and HS4 are compact, powerful tools for creating a wide range of audio content, perfect for creators with limited space who need to keep the volumedown but don’t want to compromise on quality.

The HS3 and HS4 continue the design philosophy of previous Yamaha studio monitors, delivering a sound that is faithful to the source despite their small size. They feature a high-performance class-D amp, a highly resilient MDF cabinet, and carefully selected woofers and soft dome tweeters for outstanding resolution, sound image, and depth, with a flat response across all bandwidths.

The sound produced by speakers is by their surroundings. The rear panels of the HS3 and HS4 feature ROOM CONTROL and HIGH TRIM functions that allow adjustments to achieve ideal sound in any environment, such as reducing the exaggerated low-end that often occurs when speakers are placed next to walls.

Inputs and controls to fit any use case

The rear panel of the HS3 and HS4 features combination XLR/TRS phone, RCA, and stereo mini jacks for connecting to professional and consumer equipment such as computers, audio interfaces, audio mixers, and electric instruments. The power button, volume knob, and headphone jack are located in the front for easy access.

Compact and portable

The compact size of the HS3 and HS4 is possible thanks to the highly efficient class-D amp. Using one amp for two speakers reduces the weight of the speakers and simplifies cable connections. They require little space and are easy to take on the road.
