Improved jogging wheels with real-time displays

With the elegant, touch-sensitive gun-metal jog wheels and high-profile bezels, the Mixon 8 Pro’s improved jog wheel design allows for significantly more precise control of the music. The new dynamic on-jog displays keep DJs informed with real-time information about the tracks, including virtual needle display, display of playback position and remaining or elapsed playing time of the track.

Four FX paddles for instant effects

As the first device on the market, the Mixon 8 Pro has four robust, integrated FX paddles that allow direct and direct control of software effects. Each channel also features a 3-band EQ and special sound filters to make the sound even stronger (LPF/HPF).

Built-in standalone mixer

The powerful standalone mixer with independent level indicators for inputs and outputs offers flexible connectivity options for turntables or media players, allowing digital and analog sources to be mixed simultaneously (2x phono/4x line). For even more convenience, the two microphone inputs (XLR/jack), with special talkover functions, can be routed into the mixer channels to perfectly control live vocals with the integrated EQ controls.

2 x audio interfaces with USB-C

The Mixon 8 Pro’s dual USB audio interface allows you to easily connect two laptops or an iPad (1x USB-B, 1x USB-C/USB-B switch) to ensure absolutely seamless transfer between DJs. As another new industry highlight, the Mixon 8 Pro offers USB-C device support for the new generation of Apple iPads and MacBooks (including Power supply) with 24-bit features for superior audio quality with low latency.

XXL Performance mode area

The Mixon 8 Pro’s generous performance section provides convenient access to eight color-coded performance modes, including some software-exclusive modes, for even more creative mixing (Hot Cue, Loop Roll, Saved Loop, Sampler, Pitch Play, Saved Flip, Slicer, Scratch Bank, Looper Mode, Neural Mix Mode, Touch FX). The 16 large drum pads (30 x 30 mm) feature bright, multi-coloured backlit LEDs that adapt to the selected performance mode. Its velocity-sensitive technology allows different expressions depending on the impact strength.

Ultra-glide faders allow tempo adjustments for smooth transitions. The crossfader allows quick cuts. The loop section has a shift layer and an LED bar that shows the loop length that can be changed by control buttons. In slip mode, tracks can be manipulated with loops/scratches. Each deck has a time-mode button that provides insight into elapsed / remaining playing time.

Compatibility with Serato DJ Pro and DJ Pro AI

The Reloop Mixon 8 Pro is designed from the ground up to provide the smoothest possible connectivity and software integration right out of the box. With plug-and-play technology, you can choose between Serato DJ Pro or Algoriddim djay Pro AI to lay directly on up to four decks at the same time. Multi-platform support provides the flexibility to work seamlessly with different software, as well as different devices and platforms on PC, MacOS, iPadOS or iOS. Industry-leading DJ softwares also include exclusive performance modes, such as Scratch Bank support for Serato to instantly access Scratch tools, and Neural Mix AI technology for djay Pro AI to isolate vocals, drums and instruments in real time.

Neutral mix

In addition, the Reloop Mixon 8 Pro has extensive Neural Mix controls, both in pad and EQ mode. With a simple switch on the controller, users can instantly convert the EQ controls or FX unit into dedicated Neural Mix controls, isolating drums, instruments and vocals in real time, with Algoriddim’s AI-powered technology fully utilizing Algoriddim technology.

Support for DVS and music streaming

As the successor to the popular Mixon 4, the new Mixon 8 Pro has been optimized to now also support DVS (Digital Vinyl System), integrating turntables and allowing full, physical control over your music via digital vinyl. Thanks to the integration of popular streaming services such as Tidal, Soundcloud, Beatport Link or Beatsource Link, both software solutions provide instant access to streaming and mixing over 30 million tracks in real time.
